Ok, so a while back I told you all about a new movie starring the dashing.com girl, Noriko Nakagoshi called Apartment 1303. Well it's out now on DVD (in the USA, subtitled in English) and I had a chance to see it. It's very good and not at all like the typical Japanese horror films that I've come to hate (I'm talking about you Audition). Anyhow, Nori is excellent in it and you should check it out. Oh and speaking of Nori movies, there's another film she stars in called "Strawberry Shortcakes" which was a little less wonderful, and a little harder to come by, but it's worth a look too.
Anyhow, here's a subtitled trailer to refresh your memories.
And here's one for Strawberry Shortcakes.
With all of these movies coming out she's become quite a star in Japan. But that didn't stop her from doing the following commercial where she's turned into a piece of broccoli. Enjoy.
Apparently she's done a lot of commercials.
For all five of you who care, the other day I came across "Stars Echo" on You Tube. It's a two part drama staring Noriko Nakagoshi (the dashing.com girl) and it's subtitled in English!
I haven't watched it yet, but Nori can do no wrong so I'm sure it's great. :-)
Have a look if you're interested. It's in *gasp* 12 parts, so I'm linking to the search.
Enjoy!
I recently stumbled upon the trailer for a new film starring Noriko Nakagoshi entitled "Apartment 1303." It seems like almost every Japanese film I've seen is a thriller of some kind with lots of death in it. Unfortunately this one is no exception. But having said that, it sure does look good!
Oh, and I realize that none of you care.Noriko Nakagoshi "Nude"
Jun 02
Don't get excited. It's just the name of her new website.
There was a huge build up (exaggerates slightly) with a "coming soon, Noriko Nakagoshi Nude" banner for a week or so. Then all of a sudden the new site appears. No nudity of any kind.
It's basically exactly like the old one, but in white instead of black. The sole addition is the ironically titled section, "In the Nude." This is where we get to read periodic updates from our girl with little pictures to add to the experience. Very exciting, if you can speak Japanese. It's basically the same thing she was doing before on her super-secret fan club site, "Munch 2 Much." No that wasn't a typo. :-) But now you don't need to know the secret handshake for a peek into the soul of the star of NHK's "Kokoro."
I knew I should have contacted them about doing a site for her. Oh well.
